SPRING 2025 AGGIE GREEN FUN PROJECT
SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY GRANT
Aggies Meditate in Action
Teaching students to teach others
With support from an Aggie Green Fund micro-grant, Aggies Meditate brought R.E.S.T. sessions to student organizations and campus departments during Spring 2025.
17 sessions · 114 participants · 20 campus partnerships
Participants practiced calming movement, intentional breathing, relaxation, and stillness. The project also gave students experience with outreach, program delivery, and grant work.
What participants shared
In session surveys, participants reported a reduction in stress after practicing together. Of the follow-up respondents, 75% of respondents said they continued using R.E.S.T. relaxation techniques.
These early findings offer a foundation for future campus partnerships and research conversations.
